  19. For 1996, reporting and record maintenance requirements for compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) have changed significantly.

This program provides a series of Yes/No questions to assist banks, savings institutions, credit unions, mortgage lenders and mortgage brokers determine how these new changes may affect your operations.  Of special interest will be new quarterly reporting compliance requirements and expanded compliance for many mortgage brokers previously exempted from compliance.

  25. Installation Instructions:  The file is a compressed ZIP file that contains a setup program.  The file should be uncompressed into a subdirectory of your AOL download directory after you exit AOL.  (for example, C:\AOL25\DOWNLOAD\HMDA)\

  27. Simply run the setup program from the new HMDA directory.  A program group will be automatically added to your Program Manager or Start menu and you will be immediately able to view the questionnaire.
